Denison’s Quality Food Processors planning 200 employee, $20m expansion
Quality Food Processors released the following statement today:
“Quality Food Processors LLC, a Denison employer of approximately 100 workers, pending financing and economic development incentives, intends to move forward with an expansion that would create approximately 200 new jobs and a total project investment of approximately $20 million. This project has been in the research phase of development over the past year.
In anticipation of this proposed expansion, QFP will be taking applications at a job fair on Tuesday, August 25th at the National Guard Armory in Denison from 9am to 6pm and afterward at their location in Denison. Should the project proceed as projected, QFP's hiring would begin in early 2016 and the majority would be completed by the end of calendar 2016.
Quality Food Processors is a producer of bacon products and ready-to-eat smoked meats with a large production facility located at the junction of Highways 30 and 59 in Denison."
